With this thought, Soap Excited provides handmade, vegan natural soaps and skin care products that are made from all-natural ingredients such as, pure plant oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, essential oils, and natural colorants.

How Did All Started
Soap Excited was not a planned project. It wasn't just created – it was born out of a love for aromatherapy, herbal medicine, and personal health issues. After struggling with health issues for six years – I was treated by a doctor who used herbal medicine for me. This is when I realized how effective and safe natural ingredients are. Soon enough, I started experimenting with natural ingredients to create my own skincare, which worked wonderfully on my sensitive skin.
This is when I realized that if it could help me, it could help others dealing with skin issues. So, ten years ago, what started as a personal solution turned into a business.
About Me
Hello and Welcome!! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Forman and I am the creator of Soap Excited and I am soap incredibly excited to share my love of soap making and aromatherapy with you!! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my website and read about my products, my classes and my story!
I absolutely love all things aromatherapy and making my own handmade soaps from scratch! What began as a curiosity and hobby turned into a full-fledged obsession and I found myself wanting to learn as much as I could about essential oils and how they can improve our lives. Every spare moment I had I found myself reading about and experimenting with essential oils.
I fell in love with the subject so much so that I decided to get certified and received my Aromatherapy Certification from Essential Care Aromatics in Wilmington, DE in 2015. I loved my education, teacher and fellow students so much that I decided to go back for my Teacher Training Certification from Essential Care Aromatics in July 2016. That same summer I travelled to Brighton, England to attend Botanica 2016, a three-day conference celebrating herbs and clinical aromatherapy. It was such a wonderful experience connecting with and learning from the most knowledgeable aromatherapists from all over the world.
I have also enjoyed travelling to NYC to continue my education at the New York Institute of Aromatherapy where I have taken various classes in the Art of Perfumery in 2014 and 2017. I have also had the great fortune to attend several Robert Tisserand’s classes (The Art of Aromatherapy) in NYC, including Essential Oils in Skincare in 2014.
Now, I am super soap excited to offer my own classes to budding soap makers and aromatherapists in the Kansas City Metro Area and beyond. I teach in-person soap making and aromatherapy classes for those of us who prefer to learn by demonstration and would feel more comfortable with a live experience. I will also be adding online classes in the very near future. I love sharing my knowledge so anyone looking to make their own soap or skincare at home can learn the tips, tricks, and dos and don’ts of the craft. This is why we offer hands-on soap and aromatherapy classes, where you can have a fun and interactive experience and learn how to make natural soaps from scratch.
